Visiting Oakham

If you'd like to visit us in person, we'll be happy to welcome you here in Oakham.  It's a lovely place for a day out and the area is great for a short break, with Michelin starred restaurants in Rutland and great hotels.  Visit Discover Rutland for more info.  We can recommend Wing Hall for camping - it's great!

There are good train links to Oakham - click here for more information.  For local buses click here.  If you're driving, we're near the big short stay car park in Oakham.  Head for the church spire and we're almost opposite the front door.  For a map of central Oakham click
here - we're on Church St, just down from The Merry Monk.  (It's a pub not an inebriated man of God)

We're open Monday - Saturday 10 - 5.  If you're after a good coffee, we can recommend Beans which is a couple of doors down from us on Church St.  The Castle Cottage Café is down the alley next to the church and is a lovely spot for a lunch and a pot of tea - shabby chic in the garden.  For some excellent wines, visit Ben's Wine Shop on Northgate (just round the corner).
